Always willing to help with Italian, don’t hesitate to reach out!
It's different for everyone and it really depends on how much time and energy you are willing to invest into learning the language! For me, it took around 4 years for me to become comfortably fluent, but I was only truly committed to learning the language for about a year of that. You can learn basic grammar and vocab in as little as a few weeks/months, but to become truly fluent you NEED to be having conversations in Italian. Living in an Italian-speaking environment or being able to practice with another Italian-speaker regularly will have you feeling "fluent" much faster than anything else. But don't worry about the finish-line because there is always more to learn; just focus on learning a bit more every day! It definitely adds up and you will be more and more comfortable with Italian as time goes on, until it becomes almost second-nature!
