To prepare 1/10, 1/30, and 1/90 dilutions of a disinfectant, you can follow the steps below:
Start with a known volume of disinfectant solution.
Let's assume you have 10mL of the disinfectant.
For the 1/10 dilution:
Take 1mL of the disinfectant solutions and add it to 9 mL of a diluent (such as water or a neutral buffer).
Mix thoroughly.
This will result in a 1/10 dilution, where the final volume is 1omL (1mL disinfectant + 9 mL diluent).
For the 1/30 dilution:
Take 1 mL from the 1/10 dilution prepared in step 2 and add it to 2 mL of diluent.
Mix thoroughly.
This will result in a 1/30 dilution, where the final volume is 3 mL ( 1mL from the 1/10 dilution + 2 mL diluent).
For the 1/90 dilution:
Take 1 mL from the 1/30 dilution prepared in step 3 and add it to 2 mL of a diluent.
Mix thoroughly.
This will result in a 1/90 dilution, where the final volume is 3 mL (1mL from the 1/30 dilution + 2 mL diluent).
Make sure to mix each dilution thoroughly to ensure proper mixing and dilution of the disinfectant,
