Try not to feel overwhelmed. Even the most complex topics can be broken down into simple terms. Think past the details and look for the main ideas. Then, make connections that are meaningful to you. Rather than memorize information, associate the facts with things you know and care about. This is a perfect way to incorporate knowledge into your everyday life. Focus on your weaknesses. Read the textbook/make flashcards/watch tutorial videos. Find a great Biology tutor to guide you through the study process, and reinforce your progress.

Biology & AP Biology teacher who wants students to GET it!
Start by realizing that you are capable of doing well in AP Biology, however, it might require consistent effort on your part. Try different learning tools and resources until you find what works for you. Reading is a must. AP Biology almost has its own language. You don't have to stick to a textbook, but use any of the workbooks/test prep series books. Rely on AP classroom resources including progress checks and AP daily videos. Find and maintain study groups with fellow classmates. Ask teacher for tutoring. Be sure to rely on Youtube, quizlet, quizizz, etc.
