Does the following make sense, is it true?

The average quantity of words, time, energy, and money anyone can save by speaking or writing concisely is 20%.

By articulating concisely, you will be able to reduce the length of sentences such as, “Never use a longer word where a short one will do” (11 words), to “Use the shortest words that work” (6 words), 32% fewer.

Articulating concisely lets you say or write the same messages you would be writing wordily in 60 minutes, in only 48 minutes. And it lets you use the 12-minutes you saved by expressing yourself concisely, to do other things with that time. Because you were able to do other work in those 12-minutes, and you were or will be paid for them, those 12 minutes are worth, and in a way you earned, $6.00.

Though at work, most people spend more than one
