Your answer to number 1...is correct.
I think you are having a problem with number 2...because the answer seems to be there already as the sentence is written. Tenemos una docena de huevos. (is perfectly correct in the simple form) If the sentence is supposed to mean..We have one dozen eggs. Or We have a dozen eggs.
It could possibly been an error in the sentence and the answer was given already by accident.
Hope this helps you out some.
(You spelled cuatrocientos so well. Many students have a problem spelling number combinations in Spanish, especially with the word - cuatro.)
