This really depends on the context. Used as a metaphor:
1) If it is talking about information, it would mean that each piece of information that is found is reviewed and researched very carefully. That means even the details would be looked at and researched until thoroughly understood.
2) If it is talking about objects, it would mean that each object that is found is analyzed and possibly studied/researched very carefully.

It's song lyrics that I'm working on: He lies on back. Shuts gigantic eyes. Deep dives under-thought in quest of why he's stunted. Each artifact in his quest he finds he puts under the scope and then knows why he's stunted. His parents had the neglectful type of rear style. that's the reason why he's stunted. Resurfaces from dive. Opens gigantic eyes. Staring at the orange peel heavens, resentment-soaked, from a floor mattress. He's stunted.09/17/22

Yes. I think it means what i intended but I'm unsure. I intended it to be a summary of what happens in his quest, but the present tense throws me off for some reason.09/17/22

I'm using "artifacts" as a metaphor for memories. So i'm saying that the memories (artifacts) he finds he analyzes. In the previous line, he sets out on a quest, and the following verse is supposed to be the summary of that quest.09/18/22

It's in present tense, so does that mean he analyzes the artifacts as he finds them? He finds an artifact, analyzes it and so on.09/16/22
