This first person point of view helps the reader understand how confusing the narrator found the situation he/she was in.
There is no mention of goals so that answer is wrong.
Omniscient point of view is when the author is all-knowing. Usually the author uses the third person (he, she, or they). Using I and me is termed first person. (Second person is you, and rarely used in narratives.)
