Building long-term relationships with clients is usually the desire of any tutor, whether in EA or other subjects. I have learned being affable with the client/student creates the most desired effect. Also, making yourself more accessible to the student and/or client will establish an ongoing relationship, as well as long-term.  When a tutor is engaging with a client/student it leads to more pleasant tutoring sessions in which that client/student will want to continue and return as a recurring client. Also, with a patient, cheerful, and upbeat attitude, a tutor is more easily to get the desired result. I also enjoy discovering the interests of the student and apply these interests to the lesson. This makes the sessions more personable for the student so he/she can more easily relate.
