Do you think speaking English for a foreigner with a strong American accent is a talent or not? How can one benefit from it?

The thing is that I'm not from English speaking country. But I love English so much. I speak with a strong American accent. To me, it is a very rare case. I mean no one from the people that I know have the ability for that

Without having heard you speak, it's difficult to assess if your accent is considered a strong American accent. Regarding talent, any aspect of language learning is evaluated as a distinct skill set. Some students have a particular aptitude for comprehension, yet may struggle with grammar. Other students may be able to imitate accents quite easily, while other students find producing particular sounds challenging. Any accent, native or non-native, can either be a pro or con, depending on a variety of external variables. Some of these are audience, context and field/profession.

"American" accents have several types of regional accents and dialects. For example, the Boston accent is very different from a stereotypical Southern accent common in Alabama, Texas, and Georgia. However, there are voice classes that focus specifically on honing and perfecting certain regions' dialects and accents for native English speakers, so I think being able to speak English with any type of American accent as a foreigner is already quite impressive from my point of view! To many foreigners, the typical "American" accent is the one heard in middle America and on the West Coast (think Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, etc.). These accents are the most mild and don't require the most inflection in order to sound "American," but it can still be hard for people to find their voice within the American accent.

You can benefit from having a strong American accent in several careers that require you to speak a lot - voice acting, acting, customer service representative, survey data collectors, and more. Being able to speak clearly and concisely, no matter the accent, is important for any careers that involve speaking. However, the American accent is quite mild to a majority of the Western world, so it may be the easiest to understand for a large majority which isn't native English speaking.
