One technique that can be used to correct a SNP in a gene in vivo in mice is CRISPR-Cas9. CRISPR-Cas9 is an exciting genome editing technique that enables scientists to alter parts of the DNA sequence. Using this technique, a SNP can be replaced by the desirable DNA sequence in vivo in mice.
