I need to write a story using all twenty of these words but i am struggling please help

I am a sophomore in high school and i need to write a story of any kind using the words listed below but i am struggling and could use some help

words:

Indignant, contradict , nevertheless, purge, refuge, allude, distort, apprehensive, industrious, pompous, ornate, precede, enable, brevity, complacent, impotent, malicious, petulant, recollect, and exasperated

So many dramatic, fearsome words. I can picture you writing a Frankenstein-type story entitled "A Monster Like Me." You could tell it from the perspective of the monster come to life -- innocence, rejection, malice. "Misery has made me a fiend," the monster famously said.

My advice would be to think of a story first (or at least, to think of the main idea of a story) and then incorporate the words, rather than trying to develop a story with the words as you go. This way, it's much easier to use the words.

Many of the words you listed have negative connotations, so maybe you can come up with a scary story? Below are some prompts and story ideas that may be useful:

1. Your scariest toy comes to life.
2. You have a nightmare that you're being held captive in a haunted house, only to wake up to find that it's actually happened.
3. You come home from school to find that your house is empty - hours go by and nobody turns up.
4. You look in the mirror in the morning to find that your appearance has changed - as the day goes by, you find that you're slowly transforming into a monster.
5. One day, you go into school to find that your best friend isn't in. The next day, another friend hasn't shown up. This continues, and you realize your friends are going missing one by one.
6. You wake up in the center of a deep, dark forest with no idea how you got there.
