6. She has annoying neighbors who play loud music all the time.

7. Arriving early, She sat in the first row.

8. John, feeling tired after a basketball practice, slept on the sofa.

9. Putting too many clothes in the washing machine may cause it to stop working.

nope I have to sort them separately, a gerund in a sentence can't be the same as the present participle (-_-)

Both gerunds and present participles end in -ing. Gerunds function as nouns #1, 3, 4, 5, 9 ( 5 & 9 are noun phrases). Present participles function as adjectives #6 #7 (adjective phrase). Present participles function as verbs #2 and #8. They describe something happening at the same time as the action e.g I saw the thief (who was) running…
