Im so confused because i put meanwhile after semicolon but the computer said i got it wrong

I agree with Robert. Is it possible that one option was no change? The sentence makes perfect sense with just the semicolon. Sorry--that's frustrating!

Of the options listed (so, meanwhile, although, and otherwise), I really don't see an acceptable choice. "Meanwhile" was the best choice of the three, so tell your computer to try again. Sorry - it is frustrating when problems like this arise. Be sure to check how you entered the word. The computer needs it to match exactly as programmed. Capital letters, punctuation, etc., may affect the response. But I agree with your choice of the three options. Sorry - I can't help more than this.
