Are you talking about, "We wanted more life." ? My copy is pretty tattered, so you might need to help me with the last line if that isn't it.... but if that is the last line, it speaks to the condition of man. One hundred years ago, people were just pondering the thought of existentialism. This play brings out the dilemma of the "meaninglessness of man" through robots that have no heroism... no real life. So even when great sacrifice is given, often life is still not perceived with understanding... and ultimately, man yearns for more.
