Jason lives with his mother and brother in an inner city rent-controlled apartment. His father went to jail for theft, but the judge gave him a light sentence with mandatory community service, because he thought he could be reformed. At the trial, a few pillars of the community stood up for him and apparently, that made all the difference.
Jason’s mother is a timid soul, who writes a very successful blog that is trending online. It’s about how police treat and apprehend juveniles that commit petty crimes. Commonly now, the use of force by police are recorded in videos taken by private citizens, showing how the police and suspects thrash about. The comments by police after the fact, regularly contain the undertones of racism.
Jason has no illusions about life. Raw reality is front and center.

Jaspal - No self respecting tutor will send you a story but I'm sure that many will be happy to look at one that YOU write and then post here. By waiting for a ready made story you are not doing yourself a favor. And submitting one as your own is risky. Instead, take these three steps, it's not so hard: 1) Look up any words you don't know in a dictionary. 2) Think about an area or 'sphere' of life where most of these words might typically be used (apprehend, judge, trial, juvenile ... is it really so difficult?). 3. Write a brief story, at least a first outline or draft - no matter how imperfect - and post it here. You can be certain that we will help you improve it and correct any spelling and grammar issues.08/30/21
