I believe Covid has affected the homeless to a great because no longer could they do odd jobs when the businesses weren't open in 2020. Also, they were at greater risk of getting Covid themselves when it came to approaching others, those who ventured out, for assistance. I think what is fueling the rapid rise of homelessness in this country is competition among the masses with interviewing for a job due to not having any funds whatsoever. With many businesses just now reopening, the application process requires one to have access to a computer just to complete the application.
How do you think Covid is affecting the homeless situation in our country?
My class will be working on a project regarding homelessness in our city and state. Looking for feedback: what do you think is fueling the rapid rise of the homeless in this country? Courtney Webb, MA
