The sentences need to fit logically together in content, tense and person. Phenomenon is what happens and how it appears, while reason is the critical ability to assess the phenomenon. Most phenomena are visible and measurable, but they may also be inscrutable (like a UFO). Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, physicists say. In English the same is true. Whatever. the action we take, it will cause a reaction, or consequence that you must address or ameliorate with some instrument or agent to achieve a better result than you would have without one. A temporal or within time sequence is essential to move the narrative along to a climax and denouement.
