Experienced high school discrete math teacher
Range of your data is from 5 to 14
14 - 5 = 9
9 / 5 = 1.8 [ divide by 5 because you want 5 intervals]
So 1.8 is yout bin width
So 5, 6.8, 8.6, 10.4, 12.2, 14.0 are your interval boundaries
5 <=x < 6.8
6.8 <= x < 8.6
8.6 <= x < 10.4
10.4 <= x < 12.2
12.2 <= x <= 14,0
Then for each data value , add 1 to the frequency in the corresponding bin.
so your frequencies will be 5-5-9-4-1-1 (5 in 1st interval, 5 in 2nd, 9 in 3rd ....)
Then draw a histogram showing these

You don't always have to round, it seems it is a matter of choice. If you want to round use 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 as your boundaries so 5 <= x <7, 7<=x < 9 etc05/25/21

if your teacher has recommended rounding use their recommendation05/25/21

the width of the intervals should be constant05/25/21

don't you always have to round to the next integer? I don't think this is correct.05/25/21
