 On Monday, they asked their teacher about how it is possible to have so many different types of stuff from only 100 elements. Mrs. Morris, Julie’s teacher, said they should look at models to better understand. Julie found a box of models of atoms and molecules in the closet in her science classroom. Her teacher asked her to identify the elements that make up a molecule. *

The molecule is Methane, the elements that make up Methane, however, are one Carbon atom and 4 Hydrogen atoms. The Black sphere in the middle is the Carbon atom, whilst the white spheres around it are the Hydrogen atoms.
