fyi ... the electric field would actually be 5000 but let's use 1000. The force on the electron would be Eq=1000*1.6E-19=1.6E-13. The weight (W) of the electron near the surface of the earth would be mg=8.93E-30. Thus F/W = 1.79E16 N/N
