Dress code is the main source followed in most of the institutions. The main reason the students have uniform is to maintain equality among the students as there will be both rich and the middle class people learning in the school. So the dressing style of the middle class families vary from the high class family and in-order to eradicate this issue only the institutions have their uniform because to them all children or all students are equal not only as a student but also like a second parent.

The second reason for this is that to have an identity. for example when you are walking in a road with your uniform it determines that this particular person is from this particular school. Incase if any issue happened to the students. so the public will inform that to the public. I have also experienced the same when I was doing my schooling. When I was doing my 9th grade one of my friends met with an accident. and he was injured and no one helped him but they were looking at the place by that time someone from the public contacted to the office and he was saved. It is because of the uniform that we have worn. It gives a special identity to the students is from this particular institutions.

So from my concern I feel that there is no discriminatory things behind this
