None of the answers really make sense. Alveolar pressure is also equalized to atmospheric pressure at the end of expiration - no air is moving in or out. I also assume they were looking for B, trying to get students to recognize the inverse relationship between volume and pressure, but as it's worded none of the answers are technically correct.
