What resources will be acceptable to your teacher? My gut says go to google but click on news tab, since news articles are best bets for something that needs recent research. Then type in your thesis, which side of the argument you want to tackle, and be careful which news source you choose, only sources that seem professional, trustworthy and who's reputation you trust. Reputation, not opinion. Who gets the facts right most of the time? (They might be testing your ability to get good sources for research.)
