For part A. you need to calculate rate and figure out which of them traveled the fastest. So rate is calculated in miles per hour (MPH) or Miles / Hour = Rate. So using Roger as an example he traveled 60 miles in 2 hours so 60 / 2 = 30 MPH, then 120 / 4 = 30 MPH and lastly, 180 / 6 = 30 MPH. So Roger's average speed was 30 MPH for his trip. You will use the same process to calculate Nicole's rate and then answer A.
For Part B. You will use the rate that you calculated and multiple it by time to get distance. MPH * Distance = Time. So for Roger you will take 30 MPH * 2 hours = 60 miles.
