You have deletions, duplications, inversions, and translocations. Deletions are simple, they are mutations in which part of the chromosome of sequence of DNA is left out during replication. Duplication is when you have part of a chromosome or sequence is replicated twice. Inversion is when a segment of the chromosome is reversed end to end. Lastly, translocation is when a segment of the chromosome is replicated in a different area than its supposed to be located. Deletion and duplication can result in issues such a still births and autism.
