If I have a 91 in my class and get a 0 on an essay that is 10%. How many grade points would my grade drop?

You would drop from a 91 to a 81.9.

Each 10% can be averaged as 91, so

(91 x 9) + (0 x 1) = 819

then divide by 10 for final grade.
