what are some points in which you argue for or against the claim that world culture is or will become more or less American and whether this Americanization or lack of Americanization is positive or negative for the world.

I think the world is becoming more Americanized, in that America (along with the rest of the world) is becoming more connected to each other. Through social media and the internet people from every corner of the world are exposed to and influenced by other cultures and ideas. American culture is just one of many that people are influenced by, and try to emulate. If this is good or bad is based on opinion and values. Some argue that it is bad because of the concern that cultures will be lost or "overwritten" by other cultures. Others say that new ideas help advance any society. I think both opinions are true and valid.
