There are two points A (x,7) and B (12,y). Given slope m = 3 (fixed).
a. Find the value of y-x (y minus x).
b. Find the length AB.

Slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
(y2-7)/(12-x1)=3
If y=8; x=11.66........
16 9
24 6.33........
Slope=rise/run. With this imfo I can't do anything more.
