If some of these words seem intimidating, look up the synonyms (in a paper thesaurus or on thesaurus.com) and write the paragraph with the words you know and are comfortable with. Then exchange the comfortable word for the vocabulary word once the paragraph is written. Just be sure the words have the same meaning (so that exchanging them doesn't change your paragraph's meaning). It may also help to bold or highlight them as you write so you remember to switch them out at the end.
