"Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right" - Henry Ford. This statement exists in a realm where the world is what you make of it, or that manifestation is reality. "If you believe you can achieve," is a similar way to envision the outcome of a situation. An example of this would be attempting to learn a second language. If a person believes that they can do it, as long as they put forth the effort, then their belief will be "right" and they will master the language. Likewise they do not believe in their ability, then they lack the confidence to achieve their aspirations. This would lead them to fail in achieving the goal and their belief that they could not do it would be correct. Ford is saying that your success is determined by yourself, and if you say you can't do something, you're probably right and you can't. However, the opposite is also true if you do believe in yourself.
