For films you have Crocodile Dundee, Strictly Ballroom, Walkabout, Hitchcock's Under Capricorn, The Man from Snowy River, and on and on.  The Babylon 5 series featured aboriginal Australian actors as recurring characters.  Currently the comedy/fantasy series "The Librarians" has an Australian character of Asian descent.
