Hello Ronald! Thank you for submitting this question to Wyzant Ask an Expert! My name is Amy, and I'm going to try to help you with your question today.
It seems that you are looking for some help with a vocabulary assignment. You have 10 words here that you have been as to put into a full written story. The words are:
Many of these words are long and quite difficult. I know looking at these kinds of words can be scary at first, especially when they are all grouped together, so I recommend that you break them up into smaller parts. I recommend breaking this activity up into 4 parts:
First, you need to look at each word by itself and determine what part of speech it is. In other words, is it a: noun - a person place or thing?
a verb? - an action?
Second, you should find the definition, or a word that means the same. To do this you can look up any dictionary or refer to your coursebook.
Third, you should try to find what links the words together, and figure out what they have in common.
The last part is the hardest, as it can be difficult to come up with a story. Yet this can also be fun as it means you can make anything up, as long as the words are used correctly. Once you know the definitions of these words, have perhaps found a synonym that you recognize, and have found some links between the words, it should be easier to start drafting a small story.
I won't go farther than this, because I think it is important for you to complete this assignment on your own, but I think this strategy will help you complete the assignment. Best of luck!
