To get the area f a circle the formula is r^2pi.
The blue circle=8.7^2*3.14=237.787
/360=.6605
*80=50.842
Green=7.3^23.14=167.415
/ 360=.465
*100=46.5
There's more to this than I thought .If the arcs were adbf and aebf; it'd be easier.

They got the portion on the top of the cones. 46.5 refers to the whole green cone. As for the top space; it'll take some time.10/09/20

Hello Sam, thank you for your help. But on the back of the book, it says that the answer is 4.69 cm^2 and you got 46.5 for the green shaded area, if you may check and see what's wrong, that would be great. I await your response.10/09/20
