Hi Brigitte,
As I'm sure you know you need to write the essay yourself and find evidence in the story. However, I wanted to point out to you that this is a Dystopian story. You probably know that a utopia is a place where everyone is happy and everything is just peachy. A dystopia is a place where everything seems great and utopian on the surface, but there is some ugly secret lurking behind the scenes. There's some sacrifice or lie that is artificially holding the utopia together, which means it's not truly a utopia; it's a dystopia.
Most people believe that a true utopia is impossible because humans are imperfect.
Hope that helps!
Abby
