Since this question is posed for YOU to express the emotion that you felt, this is what you must do! Ask yourself if you felt badly for Montresor... if so, why? If you were only horrified by his actions, then that meant that you were not sympathetic to his actions. Write down the reasons for your horror. Then, after you have analyzed your own reactions to the store, look at the story and see if you would have the same emotions if I had recounted the story (3rd person). Why do you feel that way?
