DNA analyses generally indicate the peoples of central Asia such as the Uyghurs are all mixed Caucasian and East Asian. This does not fit the Chinese central government narrative exactly, and so it would be interesting to do a deeper DNA dive. You could show the DNA Haplogroup and it's migration point of origin, and how they migrated to China. It would lend support, or not, to the Uyghur claim of a separate country and culture, and the results could be purely scientific, untainted by political grandstanding.

Why the Arabs and Muslim countries ignore the plight of their fellow Muslims in China, seemingly oblivious to their persecution by China, all the while complaining about the smallest slight or "Islamophobic" comment or act.

It can be studied how the naming tradition is in the Uygur Turks. This is an extremely important issue for the ancient Turks. It can be argued how the policies of the Chinese Government towards Uyghur Turks shaped the tradition of naming.
Another suggestion is how is the concept of West and East in Uyghur Turks literary works? Because Uyghur Turks are Eastern for other Turkish States. For Uyghur Turks, other Turkish states are the West.
