A google search says that, "Intersectionality is a theoretical framework for understanding how aspects of a person's social and political identities combines to create unique modes of discrimination and privilege. Intersectionality identifies advantages and disadvantages that are felt by people due to a combination of factors.". This term was coined in 1989 by Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw, who has several TED talks on Youtube if you need a better definition.
This topic will likely force you to be a bit personal with your background or experiences to find points of intersectionality. Examples in my own life would include that I am a white woman from a low-income background and am bisexual. I have felt discrimination based on my gender and sexuality, and did not have the same experiences as others my age due to living in poverty. I have not, however, experienced racial discrimination, and can hide under the radar of LGBT discrimination as long as I am not with a same-sex partner or disclosing my identity. How I can use this is by acknowledging the priveldges I have while still empathizing with and advocating for those who are oppressed or discriminated against. I can also speak about the discrimination I have felt on a personal level to help bring awareness to social problems.
Hopefully this helps show how to use intersectionality for this prompt!
