Hereditary disorders or diseases have one or more genetic mutations. The genetic mutation is in all cells of the body. Inherited diseases are dependent upon the pathway of the genetic traits an their expression from one generation to another. Examples of inherited diseases are Tay-Sachs disease and Niemann-Pick disease. An example of a hereditary disorder is Huntington's disease.
