Since there is no list of statements in order to choose which would be an expository text, perhaps it would be helpful to know what exactly IS an expository text.
Expository text is very clear and focused. It moves from facts that are general to those that are specific. It also moves from the abstract to the concrete.
Examples of expository texts would be text books, recipes, and instruction manuals. Notice how all of these much be factual and precise.
Fiction would NOT be an example of expository text.
