I am absolutely struggling to find the signal molecules for the following receptors. Which signal molecules actually bind to each. Would anyone be able to guide as to where I could learn this information? Thank you

G Protein-coupled Receptor

Receptor Tyrosine Kinases

Ion Channel Receptors

Hi Cliff,

There are several ligands that bind to each of those receptor types you mentioned. An example of one for each could look like the following:

GPCRs: norepinephrine

Tyrosine kinases: Epidermal growth factor (EGF)

Ion channel receptors: Acetylcholine
