C- grade in English and a 100 point project I don’t want to do

If I have a c- and have a project that’s worth 100 points and I hypothetically don’t want to do it what will it bring my grade down to? I don’t care if it’s a D at all as long as it’s not an F

Sorry to hear you are caught in this bind. 100 points is worth a lot no matter what your current grade is. Is this project optional/extra credit? Or is it required? If it is extra credit, then you have the option of doing or not doing the project as you see fit. If it is required, you have to do it, point blank.

In terms of what not doing the project will bring your grade down to from a C-: what percentage of your overall grade in the (English) class is this project worth? If it is a large percentage, your grade will drop one entire letter grade down to a D- (barely passing) if you do not do the project. If it is a smaller percentage, your grade will drop down to either a D+ or a D (still barely passing) if you do not do the project.
