One strategy for approaching this assignment might be to write down a quick definition or list of synonyms for each word, then reflect on what themes or images they bring to mind. Can you imagine a plot or scenario in which in which a handful of these words, especially the ones you find most difficult, would fit well? Start your story there, and keep the list in front of you while you write so you can work the words in when it feels natural.
In addition, pay attention to the parts of speech you have here. Ask yourself, is there a character in my story whom I could describe as complacent, eloquent, or biased (adjectives)? Might on of my characters try to deter another from doing something, or censor another character's speech (verbs)? And so on.
If any word is giving you particular trouble, you might use opposites. For a silly example, if I needed to use the word "handsome," I might say, "When the princess kissed the frog, she hoped he would turn into a handsome prince. Instead, he remained an ugly amphibian."
I hope this helps!
