You could talk about a job in society that has been slowly getting replaced by technology. There are tons of examples in this category. People are therefore being replaced by machines, and are subsequently having to look elsewhere for decent work that pays well and brings them and others satisfaction. Plus, jobs that used to not require a college degree do now, which has significantly changed the outlook of available employment in America for citizens young and old, well educated and less educated.

You could also discuss jobs of the future that have not been created yet, but could see the light of day in the very near day--especially in the area of technology and engineering. This is affecting college students' choices of majors to better improve their chances of economic and professional success long-term.

Finally, with technology overtaking every aspect of our everyday world--especially during the COVID-19 crisis that has caused people to lose work, income, forcing businesses to risk closure, our lifestyles are shifting significantly to convert to a more at-home, computer-driven modus operandi when it comes to work, distance learning, and socializing with others digitally.
