Human sex cell are different than other 22 pairs of chromosome sets which are diploid. Only human sex cells contains single chromosome sets that are haploid. Hope that helps!

Good morning! Meiosis results in 4 haploid cells. Such that after fusion with another gamete the final cell is diploid.
