P is any point in arc APB and C is the midpoint of arc ACB. If chord AB cuts chord CP at E, prove that triangle APC is similar to triangle EAC

Please write a two-column proof. Also, there should ONLY be one given (statement).

First of all, I assume you mean an arc of a circle. Secondly, when I draw the figure as described, point E is external to the circle and is really the intersection of AB and CD extended. Is this what you mean?
