does the punctuation here make sense?

This disorder has reached epidemic proportions with approximately 4 4 % of physicians  reporting feelings of burnout in 2019; 14% of  those physicians report having suicidal thoughts a third sought any sort of intervention (Yates, 2020).

No. It's a runon sentence in desperate need of some periods. Also, colon makes no sense. It should be an Oxford comma followed by the word and.

Susanne's correction is excellent, especially removing the colon which didn't fit at all. The colon is used mostly to show something which the earlier part of the sentence leads up to, and that doesn't happen here. Overall Jessica you are a brave writer and jump into sentence building which will help you grow into a super writer. Writing takes courage.
