The lower three are true while the first choice is not. There will be several primers for the lagging strand since it is synthesized discontinuously in the form of multiple Okazaki fragments. Nucleotides are added in the 5' to 3' direction due to the ability of DNA Polymerase, the enzyme that synthesizes DNA to synthesize in only one direction. The DNA polymerase reads the template strand in the 3' to 5' direction and produces the new DNA in the 5' to 3' direction.
