BCD and Binary Decimal

How do we convert 1111010.11(binary) to decimal by first representing it in BCD form and then converting it to decimal

Binary to Decimal is not the same thing as Binary to BCD!

0111 1010. 11 = 122.75 decimal

0111 1010.11 can not be represented in BCD because the nibble 1010 is an invalid BCD code!

The whole number is 64+32+16+8 +2 = 112

the decimal is 1/2 + 1/4 = 3/4

112.75
