What do students and their parents place value on that is purchased, particularly at a high cost. This can include intangibles (things that can't be touched but may have been experienced). Your opinion should be specifically tailored to your personality and should come out in the voice of your piece. Be sure to include personal anecdote, but be sure to use fake names.

I agree with the first answer. Look around! You will see many examples of materialism. What are the consequences? What behaviors and attitudes do you see?
