Why did Irina choose to die in the fire and not jump?

In *The 39 Clues, The Clue Hunt: In Too Deep*, Irina Spasky dies in a fire set by Isabel Kabra rescuing Alistair Oh and Amy and Dan Cahill. (Chapter 25, pages 196-198)But why didn't she just jump from the roof? She was *on* the roof, having vaulted up there to save the others. She would have had a much better chance of living if she had jumped.**Why did she decide not to jump, and instead stay on the roof as it collapsed?**

Irina had already accomplished her goal of saving Amy and Dan. After they slid down the bamboo pole to safety, it burned down giving no option to Irina other than either staying behind or jumping. Jumping, however, meant highly likely death. She would probably die from the fall or get impelled by debris in her way.
